Is SSSIO hung up about GC supervision?
The SSSIO’s concern is that the Terms of Reference of the Global Council (GC) specify that GC can appoint officers throughout the SSSIO, and the Chairman of the GC and Vice-Chairmen of the SSSGC i.e., Chairman of the International Organization and the All India President are appointed by the Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust. This is simply conflict of interest of the Managing Trustee of the SSSCT who will be indirectly the head of all the institutions.
Swami set up the SSSIO to be independent of the SSSCT clearly decentralizing the powers of the Institutions.
